Challenge #10: Celebrations!

Welcome to another Sentimental Sunday!
Happy 4th of July to our American players!

I hope you all got to send those cards of encouragement and support last week.  They were fantastic and I'm sure the recipients appreciated the time and effort that you put into them.

Here's our random winner of Challenge #9:
Congratulations! As mentioned in the last challenge, the prize is a digital sentiment set of four sentiments of your choosing or two sentiment sets from the Raindrop Echo Designs Whimsy Stamps Sentiments Collection.  Please email me (Ann) at raindropecho@gmail.com to get details about your prize :)

Before I get to today's challenge, I have some special announcements:

Want to join in on a card drive? This card drive is for Michelle Oatman (http://donkeysmiles.blogspot.com/) who recently suffered the loss of one eye.  The ladies at A Spoon Full of Sugar blog and Just Magnolia blog are holding a card drive for Michelle starting Tuesday, so please visit those challenge blogs then.  Whimsy Stamps has also joined in and one of our artists, Melissa Jenkins, created a special image for you to use.  This freebie, along with some coordinating sentiments that I've created, will be available on the Whimsy Stamps store on Tuesday.  So please, if you can, squeeze in a card for Michelle.  If you create one (and please send it to her), send me either a link to your blog post or a picture and I will send you a sentiment set from the Raindrop Echo Designs Whimsy Stamps Sentiments Collection of your choice.   Thank you for your generosity; I'm sure Michelle will appreciate it, too!

Want to grab another freebie? There is a freebie up at Cheryl's blog, one of our DT sisters here at Sentimental Sundays.  Operate Write Home is having a "birthday" blog hop in celebration of the 4th of July. You can head to her blog to grab the freebie, because after the hop is over, it will no longer be available. If you want to create a card for our troops, you can also download the For The Troops sentiment freebie at my blog post here.

Okay, back to the challenge!
This week's challenge is:
Celebrations!
(plus a sentiment)

In honor of our July 4th celebrations in the US this weekend, this week we're asking you to create a card with a celebration theme! It can be a birthday, a wedding (it is the season afterall) or just about celebrating life.  I've been bogged down with so much work this week that I didn't have time to create a card, but here's plenty of inspiration from the design team:

A little change to the freebies offered at this blog:
A lot of time and effort goes into creating the digital sentiments and starting today, freebies will only be offered for a period of one week.  Afterwards, they will be available for sale at the Raindrop Echo Designs Collection at Whimsy Stamps.  The freebies given in previous challenges will also be removed after this week.  To compensate, the challenge prize will now be FOUR sentiment sets of the winner's choosing AND your choice of a custom watermark/signature set.

Thank you for understanding!

Sentimental Sundays Weekly Freebie:
Free sentiments are only available for one week.
For more sentiments like this, please visit the Raindrop Echo Designs Sentiments Collection at Whimsy Stamps.
The prize for this challenge will be four sentiment sets from the Raindrop Echo Designs Whimsy Stamps Digital Collection AND a custom watermark/signature set from the Custom Designs at Whimsy Stamps.

When uploading to SCS, PCP, SNR, or other galleries, please use the keyword "sentimentalsundays10" Thank you!
