Challenge #74 - Step Out of Your Comfort Zone

Welcome to another Sentimental Sunday!

Thanks so much to everyone who played along in our Monochromatic challenge last week. Your entries were just wonderful! Be sure to stop back on Tuesday and see who our random winner is and who has been chosen to be in our Top 3!

I (Ann) would also like to say a sad goodbye to the Sentimental Sundays Challenge Blog.  My life has become a bit busier than it used to be back when I started the blog in April 2010 so I've made the very hard decision to step away.

Don't worry, the blog isn't going anywhere!  In fact, it will be taken care of by some very dedicated and wonderful people.  Calypso will be taking over the blog, Ceal and Chris will continue to be coordinators, and they will be joined by Marlene and Tameko at the helm.  Chris will now be providing you with the weekly freebies.  If you get the chance, please thank these ladies for keeping the blog going.  Thank you, everyone, for a wonderful one and a half years.  I will see most of you around in some way or another!

Challenge Sponsors:
We have two challenge sponsors this week. First, is Heart Song Designs. The winner will receive their choice of 3 digital images from the Heart Song Designs store.

Our second sponsor is the marvelous Ann Vento of Raindrop Echo Designs. This prize will be four INDIVIDUAL sentiment sets from the Raindrop Echo Designs Whimsy Stamps Digital Collection. If you like the weekly freebies offered here, please visit the store to see even more! We also offer custom digital designs at an affordable price with tutorials on how to use them.

This week's challenge is:
Step out of Your Comfort Zone
(plus a sentiment)

The team is asking you to do something that you do not usually do - a technique, a fancy fold, something that challenges your creativity. As usual, the design team has been hard at work challenging themselves and creating some projects.
Sentimental Sundays Weekly Freebie:
Freebie sentiments are available for one week only.  For more sentiments like this, please visit the Raindrop Echo Designs Sentiments Collection at Whimsy Stamps.
A special thank you to those who link back to the blog when using these sentiments!

When uploading to SCS, PCP, SNR, or other galleries, please use the keyword "sentimentalsundays74" Thank you!

Saying "Goodbye" can be very hard - but when it brings new beginnings, it will be easier. Thank you for your "Goodbye Sentiments." Wishing you the best Ann.

Thank you for these, your timing is impeccable. I just lost a dear close friend who went to S. Africa to teach tribal children to read and about the Lord and it was his last week there and was going to Cambodia to help children and risk and he was gored to death by an elephant. It has been a hard one to take. So thank you for these. Hugs Cathy K

Hiya there,

How are you all? so sorry that you have to leave, life is a merry go round and sometimes we have to get off at a different stop from what we wanted.
But with change comes new opportunities and new beginnings.
Not all goodbyes are forever nor are they a negative or bad thing.

Good Luck in all that you do,take care.

Big Hugs
