We are looking to add some new faces to the Sentimental Sundays Team.
January- June 2014 Term

The team is SUPER easy going...and the ladies on the team are SUPER amazing!!!

Here is what will be required from you:
-  Create a card, scrapbook, digital layout, alter item, or anything using any sentiment and incorporating the challenge theme at least TWO A MONTH. You do not have to create weekly, though we (the team and those who visit the blog) love to see your creations!.

- Some weeks we will be asked to create only with our sponsors images. 
Be willing and open to do so. 

- Comment on participant entries (we divvy it up to decrease the load) - this is very important! Everyone loves comments.

- You will pick and create the winner's post at least once during the 6 month term.
- Join the Sentimental Sundays Facebook forum for communication and to chit-chat and share your creations.

Hello everyone-

First, I want to thank everyone that entered our design team call. 

The turnout was more than I expected, due to it being the end of holiday season and all.

I did not get around to thank each and everyone of you, but I will as I would like to invite a few of you back as our guest. 

Today I have the honor and privilege of announcing the ladies that well be joining the Sentimental Sundays family. I was originally only planning on selecting 2-3, but I couldn't resist or pass up the amazing talent and skills that each one of them have.  They are the perfect fit for our already large and talented family.

So without further ado, let's introduce you to the Sentimental Sundays Design Team:

I could not end this post with out giving a HUGE thank you, to my "Senior Design Team".

Some of these ladies are the original "Sentimental Sundays" Design Team, that stayed with me, when I took over Sentimental Sundays, a year and half ago.  It's been a lot of trial and error, but they hung in there with me and supported all the transitions that were made along the way.  They are all my sisters and I could not do it without them.  And of course here they are:

Design Team Call

Hi everyone-

Merry Christmas to you!

Did you have an amazing Christmas?  I sure hope you did. 

As the end of the year is quickly approaching, we would like to add a few new faces to Sentimental Sundays Design Team for 2013.

How to apply?  Easy!!

But before entering your name, ask yourself these quick questions:

-Can you create a new project(card, scrapbook layout, altered item, anything) using any sentiment, theme and sponsored images/products?

-Can you create 2 cards per month. (If you want/can create every week FANTASTIC)

-Can you comment on participants entries? (This is VERY important!)

-Can you commit to a 6 month term, ending June 30th, 2013.

If you answered YES to all four questions, then please add your name below.

DT call will end on 1/16/2013, notified by the 18th and revealed on the 20th.

Challenge News and a Design Team Call!

Sentimental Sundays is taking a break for a month to get reorganized and to hold a design team call. We will be back with our challenges on January 1st, 2012, so be sure to check back and see what (and who) is new!

Design Team Call

We'd like to invite a few of you talented crafters out there to join the Sentimental Sundays team.

Here are the guidelines:

• Create a new project (card, scrapbook, digital layout, alter item, anything) using any sentiment an incorporating the challenge theme at least TWICE A MONTH. You do not have to create weekly, though we (the team and those who visit the blog) love to see your creations!
• Comment on participant entries (we divvy it up to decrease the load) - this is very important! Everyone loves comments.
• Join the Sentimental Sundays Yahoo group for DT communication and to chit-chat and share your creations

• Your name and blog address (yes you must have a blog in order to be considered).
• Why would you like to be chosen to be on the Sentimental Sundays Design Team.
• 3-4 blog post links showing with work with sentiments. (ONLY blog links, NOT actual pictures)

I cannot believe that it's been more than one year since the blog has started!  We recently had some DT members step down (we will miss them greatly), but we would love to add some new faces to our Sentimental Sundays family.  We are looking for talented, easy-going, dedicated, and fun-loving individuals to join the team!

Here's some info:
1.  Create a project (card, scrapbook, digital layout, alter item, anything) using any sentiment an incorporating the challenge theme at least TWICE A MONTH.  You do not have to create weekly, though we (the team and those who visit the blog) love to see your creations!  Comment on participant entries (we divvy it up to decrease the load) - this is very important!  Everyone loves comments.  Join the Sentimental Sundays Yahoo group for DT communication and to chit-chat and share your creations.

2.  You will have access to all the digital sentiments for sale at the Raindrop Echo Designs Digital Sentiments for Whimsy Stamps. Of course, you also have access to all my free digital sentiment sets.  If we have sponsors, you will have access to sponsor products if/when they are offered to the team.  You will receive a free watermark and/or signature set from the Custom Digital Designs section.  Though you have free access to all my digital sentiments, you are not required to use them for the challenges.  I greatly appreciate it if you do, but of course, I know there are lots of other wonderful sentiments out there and I never want to limit anyone's creativity :)

3.  Your name and blog link will be displayed on the sidebar and permanently displayed on the Design Team page.

Design team call ends Monday, May 23.  The new members will be announced on May 28.

I can't believe the Sentimental Sundays blog has been running for almost six months! The days have flown by and I still feel lucky every day for the fun we get to have each week.


I would not have been able to keep it going without the talent and support from the lovely ladies here at the Sentimental Sundays.  Recently, Anesha and Renate has decided to step down from the team.  We'll miss them tremendously, but because of that, we've decided to put up our second DT Call to look for talented, easy-going, dedicated, and fun-loving individuals to join our Sentimental Family.

Challenge #1: Blooming Gorgeous and DT Call

Hello and welcome to the first Sentimental Sundays Challenge!

First, I just have to say that I'm so excited about starting this challenge blog! For a while now, I've been wanting to start my own challenge, but I didn't know what it should be centered around. With all the wonderful comments that I have received on my sentiments, I've decided that Sentimental Sundays would be the perfect choice.  Thank goodness the blog address wasn't already taken :)

Second, um, I guess I'm in need of a design team, lol. 
Here's some info:
- Create a project (card, scrapbook, digital layout, alter item, anything) using any sentiment from any company every other Sunday using the challenge theme.  Join the Sentimental Sundays Yahoo group for DT communication and to chit-chat and share your creations.
- You will have access to all the digital sentiments I create for sale (such as the ones for Whimsy Stamps here) or others that I may sell elsewhere in the future.  Of course, you also have access to all my free digital sentiment sets.  If we have sponsors, you will have access to sponsor products if/when they are offered to the team.
- Your name and blog link will be permanently displayed on the sidebar.
- Design team call ends Sunday, May 9.

Challenge #1: Blooming Gorgeous

(use flowers, and of course, a sentiment!)

Here's the freebie for this week.  I thought I would go with sentiments that everyone could use at one point or another.  I call it "The Basics" sentiment set. Each sentiment comes in different formats for some versatility.  Enjoy!

Here's my sample using a sentiment and flowers:

The prize for this challenge will be a digital sentiment set of six sentiments of your choosing! That's right, you tell me what to put on the page :)  If you would rather just have a pre-made sentiment set from the Raindrop Echo Designs Whimsy Stamps Digital Collection, you're welcome to have one of those instead.
